Download, extract, and run iBrickr Special 1.1.3 jailbreak edition (ibrickr.exe in the archive).
iBrickr will determine what firmware you are running on your phone and make sure you can run the update.
iBrickr will then guide you through the process of obtaining and modifying the 1.1.3 firmware (make sure to read everything thoroughly).
iBrickr will upload the new firmware image to your phone. Note that this only puts the file on your phone and does not modify it at all, yet.
When iBrickr finishes (should take about 10 minutes), it will tell you to go to Installer and install the "1.1.3 soft upgrade" package. Do that.
When the installer finishes (this should take another 10-15 minutes), your phone should reboot with a fresh activated 1.1.3 firmware.

I want to know how to upgrade a jailbroken iPhone's firmware to 2.0 or 3.0 from version 1.0

The iPhone OS 3.0 is available only to developers at the moment. It won't be released to the general public until this summer (Apple hasn't revealed an exact date). How Do I Get to Safari on An Unactivated Phone

1. enter *#307# press call, now use the back button on the top of your screen to remove *#307# , now enter 0 , press call, press answer, press hold, press decline. And you get to the contact list. And thereafter every time you push the homebutton you just slide the "emergency call" slide, then enter 0 , press call, press hold, press decline

2. Push contacts, end call and you get called again, this time hit decline and you access one of menus with favorites, you can edit contacts, do a test ride on keyboard, take photos etc.

3. Now edit a new contact and type in http://jailbreakme.com as web-address.

4. When you tap the address safari opens but only displays an error saying that it cannot access the website, it also looks like safari freezes up.

5. Now press the home button, and for a split second the iPhone shows a screen where you can select wi-fi networks. Now you have to be really quick and select a network before the phone freezes.

6. Next you get Back to the "emergency call page" and every on screen button has frozen so the only thing you can do is turn off the phone.

7. Turn the iPhone off then on again

8. Now you can go back to the contact list by Dialing 0, push call, then answer, then contacts, then hit that web address you typed in.

The pc detected it as digital camera. Itune doesn't react when the touch was plugged

First off you need to have iTunes installed and the ipod touch plugged in
and recognized as ‘something’ e.g. digital camera (it shouldn’t really
matter what it’s recognized as, but it needs to be found by windows).

Search for usbaapl in the C:\WINDOWS system folder:
open windows explorer (e.g. Right-click Start and then click ‘explore’)
right-click the WINDOWS folder and select ‘Search’).
type in usbaapl and hit Search – try to ignore the dog!
You should find the driver info in a sub folder of
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE e.g. C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B
Remember that location (either leave the search box open or copy the folder
name into note pad – you’ll need it later)
If you don’t find usbaapl.sys, usbaapl.inf etc. then your drivers have not
been installed with the iTunes install and you’ll have to reinstall iTunes.

Locate the ipod-camera device:
Open the device manager, e.g. using Start > Control Panel >
Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager
Look for a device called ‘ipod’ - if your ipod shows up as
‘digital camera’ it will be under something like ‘imaging devices’.

Update the driver:
Right click the ‘ipod-camera’ in device manager and click on
‘Update Driver’ – the Hardware Update Wizard will open.
Check the ‘Install from a list or specific location’ then click ‘Next’
Check ‘Search for the best driver in these locations’. Un-check
‘Search removable media’ and check ‘Include this location in the search’.
In the text box below type (or better copy and paste) the folder
containing the ipod driver information found in step 1 (in the example
above it was C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B),

then click Next.

You should now see something like ‘Apple ipod device driver’ or so. Continue
installing that device. Once the driver has been installed the ipod will come
to life and iTunes (if you have it open) will show it. TRY SENDING IT HERE IF THIS DOESNTWORK

IPHONE FREEZES ITUNES EASY FIX IPHONE HELP

I upgraded my iTunes (on my PC) to version 8.1.

Suddenly, connecting the iphone freezes iTunes. In fact, if I open a window over it, it won't reappear, although it shows in the task bar. The computer reads the phone --I see it as a camera like usual. I've tried restarting, etc, with no luck.

Try removing (Deauthorizing) your iTunes account and adding it back on. This has seemed to help others with this issue.

FIX MY IPHONE IT CRACKS AND DOESNT VIBRATE

My iPhone Vibrates and makes a cracing noise, I received a text while it was in silent mode and it made a vibrating cracking noise. It seemed better after a while, but today, it made the same noise and now, it doesn't vibrate at all. I've reset it, and still nothing.

Does anyone know how to fix it? Or is this a hardware issue?

SY TRICKS TO MAKE YOUR OWN RINGTONES FOR YOUR IPHONE

Hey dont want to JailBreak your new iPhone just want some cool ringtones made from your own mp3s heres a simple way to make your own ringtones.


Step 1: Pick a nice ringtone-ready mp3.
Step 2: Load it into an editing program like Audacity with mp3 codec (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to trim the mp3 to around 30 seconds and save it as a new mp3 file. You can even fade it in and out for added bonus points.
Step 3: Add the new, shorter version back into iTunes and convert it into an ACC file (read m4a).
Step 4: Find the new m4a 30 second track and physically change the m4a to m4r (in Windows, this means going into folder options and making sure it always shows file extensions)
Step 5: Add the new m4r file back into iTunes, and voila, you have a new ringtone! Just add it to your iPhone and go!

Note: This is confirmed with the iPod version 1.1.3 and iTunes 7.5 - future versions may not allow this.

It means that you have a $600 8GB iPod. It also means you have a mail and internet device. Everything works except the phone and EDGE functions, but WiFi is a go.

But it's not just plug and play. You'll need to know what you are doing, as Jon says, "this application will not do anything unless you understand the magic numbers as well as add the hosts entry." That's Greek to me, but if you try it, tell us about it in the comments.
